“The first step in any kind of effort to make a better world, it is to make ourself better. If we are not at peace and in harmony, then anything we do outside ourself we may actually be introducing problems in the world. ” – Brent Hunter

The Rainbow Bridge

Brent is truly an extraordinary person. I knew he was exceptional when I met him over 28 years ago. We were both part of General Electric’s Information Systems Management Training program.  What I remember is that even though he was quite analytical and technology oriented he was also very open to exploring psychology and spirituality.

Through these past 28 years, he continued his journey in pursuit of knowledge and wisdom through intense mental, introspective, psychological, physical and spiritual studies.  His latest book, The Rainbow Bridge, is the fruit of the decades of hard work and study.   The idea of the book is to help build a bridge from war to peace, from the present to our common future, for the benefit of all world citizens.  I’ll let him explain more.

Favorite Quote(s):

“Our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, or gorgeous or talented or fabulous?

Actually, who are you NOT to be?

You are a child of God.

Playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in every one of us.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
