Mark Anderson is a native of North Dakota. He studied aviation at University of North Dakota and earned flight certificates for commercial, private, and multi-engine seaplanes and aircraft, as well as CFI and type ratings.
His career began by trading futures on Minneapolis Grain Exchange. He started his career with $5000 in credit card advances. Mark later founded Killer Whale Holdings which arbitraged physical commodities with derivatives on several exchanges. Capt Drake LLC was then established, which is a global leader in non-GMO sugars and citrates.
A serial entrepreneur, Anderson founded Drake’s Organic Spirits, the largest capacity organic alcohol company in the United States and the first to achieve all five certifications: USDA Organic, Non GMO Project Verified, Gluten Free, Vegan and Kosher.
Anderson currently resides with his family in Minnesota where they run Long Lake Animal Rescue. This rescue gives both small and large animals another chance.
